The Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP) works to enhance mental health and addition (MHA) services in Ontario by focusing on what matters to service providers and system leaders including the Ministry of Health, MHA Centre of Excellence and Ontario Health regions.

AMHO mobilizes the MHA sector toward a better system for clients. We work with members to share knowledge, build capacity, and scale best practices. AMHO supports peer-to-peer learning and showcases evidence-informed models to drive broader adoption and sustained investment in a world-class mental health and addictions system for Ontarians.

Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Ontario is a not-for-profit, charitable organization. The Quality for Leaders Hub is a set of self-paced learning modules that include a curated collection of tools, and resources designed to support health care leaders in advancing quality in their organization. It is intended to help you embed quality into your strategy, governance, operations, and daily practice—whether you’re beginning your quality journey, building momentum, or deepening your organization’s quality culture.
This Hub is intended for health care leaders at all levels who want to better understand their role in advancing a culture of quality. It is organized into four self-paced modules and offers practical tools, templates, and resources you can use within your organization and share with staff to help build quality improvement capacity.
We currently offer four self-paced modules:

Each module includes practical tools, templates, stories from the field, and quick links to resources, provincial frameworks and supports.
No. There is no required sequence. You can start anywhere—pick the module that aligns with your current needs, or browse all the content to plan your next steps. Think of it as a “choose-your-own-adventure” learning experience.
Most resources are free of charge. If a resource requires payment, it will be clearly marked with an icon (“$”), and any associated cost will be your responsibility.
The modules are designed to be flexible. Whether you have 10 minutes or an hour, there is something you can learn and apply immediately. All modules are self-paced, so you can move through them at a speed that works for you.
No. The modules are intended to offer a range of content that would support advancing a quality culture. You can use the parts you want and then move to another module. You can come back to a module whenever you want to access new content or to review something you have already learned.
Yes, registration allows you to access the full set of modules and tools. Registration is free for all.
No. Your registration does not expire. You can return to the Hub at any time.
